Principal Cyber Threat Analyst

Job Summary

To support its Intelligence and Response team, the remote Principal Cyber Threat Analyst will analyze cyber events, prepare detailed reports, and conduct research on cyber threat actors while collaborating with a high-performing team of cybersecurity professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform analytical triage of cyber events and conduct forensic analysis of system images
• Prepare detailed written analyses and brief findings to technical and non-technical audiences
• Conduct all-source research on cyber threat actors and evaluate technical reporting on cyber threats

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3 years with a Master's; or 1 year with a PhD
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret level security clearance
• Experience with two or more analysis tools used in a SOC/CIRT or similar environment
• Minimum of 2 years of experience analyzing log data for intrusion analysis or cybersecurity operations
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages
