Principal Data Architect
Job Summary
To support the analytics function, the full-time Principal Data Architect will design and manage the enterprise data architecture on Databricks, ensuring data quality and governance while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee governed data products, ensuring a unified definition of core metrics across all initiatives
- Own the architecture for the analytics platform, including standards and technical roadmaps for data storage and integration
- Lead the implementation of master data management and entity resolution to link participant and provider identities across systems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data platform development
- Production experience with Databricks on Azure and hands-on MDM implementation
- Expertise in data modeling, including semantic and metric layer design
- Proven ability to establish architecture standards and governance in multi-stakeholder environments
