Job Summary
Leading high-severity investigations into mission-critical infrastructure events, the full-time remote Principal Data Center Forensic Engineer will determine root causes of incidents across electrical, mechanical, cooling, and controls systems while driving systemic risk elimination and reliability improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead forensic investigations into major incidents and operational anomalies across data center regions
- Produce evidence-based forensic reports for executive and technical leadership
- Drive containment and corrective actions to resolve systemic issues fleet-wide
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering
- 12 or more years of experience in hyperscale or mission-critical environments
- Deep expertise in electrical and mechanical system behavior and failure mechanisms
- Mastery of structured root cause analysis and forensic investigation techniques
- Experience investigating multi-site or fleet-wide incidents preferred
