Principal Data Center Operator

Job Summary

To support operational excellence, the full-time Principal Data Center Operator will manage technical documentation, process engineering, and incident response across data centers while collaborating with global teams to enhance workflows and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a technical author and process engineer, creating and maintaining operational procedures and documentation
• Analyze workflows to identify gaps and inefficiencies, implementing new processes to improve operational readiness and scalability
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging operational data and stakeholder feedback to refine procedures and workflows

Required qualifications

• 6 to 11 years of experience in data center operations, technical support, or engineering
• Hands-on experience with enterprise server, storage, and networking technologies, particularly Linux/Unix administration
• Proven ability to create clear, actionable technical documentation and operational procedures
• Strong process engineering mindset with experience in analyzing and improving operational processes
• Knowledge of OCI and cloud computing concepts, along with a customer-outcome mindset
