Principal Data Engineer
Job Summary
Leading agile software development efforts, the full-time remote Principal Data and Integration Engineer will ensure data governance, align business and IT strategies, and perform hands-on coding while mentoring team members and managing project completion.
Key responsibilities
- Define strategic IT objectives and guide team members towards achieving them
- Act as the primary contact for software development tasks, providing feasibility estimates and updates to stakeholders
- Monitor project progress, address potential issues, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of related experience, including 3-4 years in designing and maintaining secure software
- Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Design Thinking
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- ServiceNow training is preferred
