Job Summary
To support a growing data platform team, the full-time Principal Data Engineer will design and maintain scalable data infrastructure for analytics and AI workloads, utilizing tools like Snowflake and Apache Airflow, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain a robust data platform for analytics and AI workloads
- Build and evolve the infrastructure for the Semantic Layer and Data Agent, ensuring data quality and reliability
- Collaborate with Data Science and Product Engineering teams to develop and deploy reliable data and AI products
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a technical contributor in data platforms
- Experience with Cloud Data Warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery
- Proficiency in Python or Go for development
- Experience with Workflow Orchestrators like Airflow
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and data modeling principles
