Job Summary
To design and scale data pipelines for analytics, the full-time remote Principal Data Engineer will manage the full pipeline lifecycle, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and set technical standards for data infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Move data through the full pipeline lifecycle, applying transformation, validation, and testing for analytics consumption
- Build and maintain Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines for orchestrating data ingestion and transformation
- Set technical standards for pipeline design and mentor other data engineers on the team
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines and data flows
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field, including senior or technical lead roles
- Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (Python, Scala, or Java)
- Experience extracting and normalizing raw data from heterogeneous sources
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience preferred
