Principal Data Governance Architect
Job Summary
Responsible for enterprise architecture authority within the governance program, the remote Principal Data Governance Architect will manage the alignment of governance standards and domain data models with Lumen's architecture, ensuring compliance with architectural guardrails and representing governance in major architecture decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Own enterprise data architecture standards for governance, including reference architectures and integration models
- Serve as the governance team's representative in the Data Architecture Review Board for new data initiatives
- Evaluate new tools for architectural fit and assess integration complexity and dependency risks
Required qualifications
- 10+ years in enterprise data architecture with a governance-by-design orientation
- Experience participating in architecture review boards
- Expertise in Databricks Lakehouse architecture, including Unity Catalog and Delta Live Tables
- Broad platform fluency across Azure, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, and multi-cloud environments
- Preferred experience with CUI/FedRAMP data segregation architecture
