Principal Data Lead

Job Summary

To support a large, multi-year IT services program for a government client, the full-time Principal Data Lead will execute data strategy, manage data governance and quality standards, and coordinate data-domain activities in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of the program's data strategy aligned with government mission priorities and operational requirements
• Establish and continuously improve the program's data supply chain approach, including data sourcing, ingestion, and quality validation
• Oversee trusted-data promotion governance to ensure data sets and analytics assets meet defined quality and usability standards

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior data leadership role on a federal IT services program
• Deep expertise in enterprise data strategy, governance, and management
• Experience leading data supply chain design and execution
• Strong understanding of modern data architectures and platforms
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; MBA or Master's Degree preferred
