Job Summary

As a senior technical leader, the full-time remote Principal Data Scientist will lead complex data science projects, applying advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to extract actionable insights from large datasets and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex data science projects from conception to completion, working with large and diverse datasets
• Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to build predictive models and generate actionable insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve key business problems while mentoring other data scientists

Required qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in data science with a strong portfolio of completed projects
• Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data science libraries and tools
• Proven track record of delivering major data products resulting in measurable business growth or cost savings
