Principal Data Scientist
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Principal Data Scientist for a full-time remote position, who will lead customer implementations by architecting, designing, and deploying advanced forecasting and demand sensing algorithms for Fortune 500 clients, driving significant supply chain decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end discovery, architectural design, prototyping, testing, and deployment of enterprise-grade AI/ML models
- Work directly with enterprise clients and stakeholders to translate complex supply chain challenges into machine learning solutions
- Mentor and guide cross-functional teams of data scientists and analytics consultants, ensuring high coding standards and best practices
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Data Science and Analytics with a proven track record as a technical lead
- Master's or Ph.D. in Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or Supply Chain preferred
- Deep knowledge of applied machine learning in supply chain planning
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, along with modern ML/DL frameworks
- Exceptional storytelling and stakeholder management skills
