Principal Data Scientist

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Principal Data Scientist will manage the full machine learning lifecycle, focusing on developing and productionizing models to enhance personalization and recommendation systems using large-scale datasets.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and evaluate machine learning models to improve personalization and recommendation systems
• Advance foundational modeling capabilities and apply modern machine learning techniques to enhance system performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into reliable systems that drive measurable client and business impact

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field; Master's Degree or PhD preferred
• 8+ years of experience in designing and deploying machine learning solutions, particularly in personalization
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with large-scale datasets using SQL and distributed data-processing technologies
• Familiarity with modern deep-learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Demonstrated ability to independently drive machine learning projects from exploration to production deployment
