Principal Data Scientist

Job Summary

To build a world-class data science function, the remote Principal Data Scientist will lead the data and analytics efforts, focusing on developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models while collaborating closely with various organizational teams to improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the machine learning strategy and execution, including MLOps engineering for model automation and monitoring
• Build foundational infrastructure to scale machine learning implementations and create analytical data models in DBT
• Analyze clinical and operational data to support program performance and identify patient cohorts for intervention

Required qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in healthcare analytics with hands-on expertise in real-world data
• Advanced SQL and Python skills for complex data analysis and machine learning model production
• Experience in developing impactful BI reports and dashboards for end-users
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams
