Principal DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Principal DevOps Engineer will architect and maintain scalable AI/ML infrastructure, manage CI/CD pipelines, and mentor junior engineers while bridging the gap between AI researchers and software development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement secure and resilient infrastructure for AI/ML workloads
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI models, managing data ingestion to model serving
• Act as a subject matter expert and mentor, promoting best practices in AI/ML platform development

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, ML Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering in a senior capacity
• Expert-level knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Hands-on experience with ML orchestration tools like Kubeflow, MLflow, or Amazon SageMaker
• Deep expertise with Docker and Kubernetes for managing AI/ML workloads
• Strong coding skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Bash for automation
