Principal ECAD Designer
Job Summary
To support the development of advanced military navigation systems, the full-time Principal ECAD Designer will design complex printed circuit board layouts and collaborate with engineers to ensure compliance with specifications, with the option for hybrid or remote work.
Key responsibilities
- Design moderate to complex printed circuit board layouts, ensuring all specifications are met
- Participate in design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality PCB designs
- Create and modify schematic drawings and generate necessary output files for manufacturing
Required qualifications
- An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree or higher, or equivalent experience in printed circuit board design
- At least 14 years of experience in printed circuit board design
- Proficiency in Zuken design software or similar layout tools
- Familiarity with IPC-2221 standards for complex and high-density board layouts
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. DoW Secret security clearance
