Job Summary
Leading the technical execution of major engineering programs, the full-time Principal Electrical Engineer will design and develop electrical circuits for battery systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a home-based position.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical circuits for batteries, chargers, and rechargeable battery systems
- Create detailed electrical schematics, specifications, and technical documentation
- Support environmental and electrical qualification testing in accordance with military and defense standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in electrical design, power systems, or defense-related products
- Strong knowledge of lithium-ion battery technologies and system safety designs
- Experience with battery systems, power electronics, and low-EMI circuit design
- Proficiency with electrical design software tools
