Principal Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Principal Engineer for a full-time position who will partner with the CTO to lead engineering execution, make routine technical decisions, and establish AI-agent-assisted development practices while actively engaging in full-stack software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the CTO's technical deputy, managing day-to-day engineering execution and maintaining alignment with strategic direction
- Contribute to architectural decisions and system design, ensuring solutions meet current and future product requirements
- Design, build, debug, and maintain software solutions across the full stack while promoting high standards of code quality and engineering practices
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including roles as a Senior, Staff, or Principal Engineer
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise across the full stack, including databases, backend, frontend, and cloud infrastructure
- Strong system design and architecture skills with the ability to evaluate trade-offs and make pragmatic decisions
- Proven experience using AI coding agents in software development and debugging
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
