Job Summary
To support the Customized Experience Platform (CEP), the contract-to-hire Principal Engineer will establish the engineering vision and drive technical direction across digital delivery, content management, and mobile app engineering while working remotely during CST hours.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement solutions that enhance delivery speed, quality, and customer outcomes across web and mobile platforms
- Lead the development of architecturally impactful components and create frameworks to facilitate collaborative engineering practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer outcomes into technical strategies and ensure adherence to technology standards
Required qualifications:
- Extensive experience in digital platforms, CMS, and design systems
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and React Native
- Strong background in system design and architecture with a focus on scalability and reliability
- Experience in leading technical initiatives and collaborating with product and design teams
- Ability to work independently and solve complex problems aligned with broader software engineering strategies
