Principal Engineer, AI Security

Job Summary

To secure AI systems at cloud scale, the full-time remote Principal Engineer, AI Security will lead the integration of AI security controls into customer-facing products, drive the AI Security strategy and roadmap, and represent AI security at executive briefings while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and integrate AI security controls in collaboration with Product Security and Engineering leadership
• Lead adversarial testing and security reviews for major AI product initiatives, ensuring robust risk management
• Architect and implement the AI Risk & Governance framework, establishing policies and standards for AI/ML systems

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with 4-5 years focused on AI/ML security or security data science
• Demonstrated ability to define and drive AI or security programs at an organizational level
• Deep knowledge of adversarial ML attacks and defenses, including evasion and poisoning techniques
• Strong programming skills in Python and Go, with experience in building security tooling and automation
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Mathematics, or related field
