Job Summary
Collaborating with product teams, the full-time Principal Engineer - Bulgaria will translate early-stage ideation into structured Proof of Concepts, produce detailed specifications for coding agents, and ensure the quality of agent-generated output in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Translate product ideation into structured Proof of Concepts, establishing technical feasibility and scope
- Produce specifications and acceptance criteria for coding agents, taking ownership of code through deployment
- Apply rigorous quality standards to agent-generated output, ensuring compliance with regulated decision-making contexts
Required qualifications
- Experience in software engineering within large, complex codebases, with a strong foundation in software architecture
- Practical experience with AI coding agents and understanding their capabilities and limitations in production workflows
- Ability to communicate technical requirements precisely, producing actionable specifications for both agents and engineering teams
- Familiarity with technologies such as Python, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, AWS or Azure, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in regulated software delivery processes and a background in decisioning, credit risk, or fraud detection is advantageous
