Job Summary
Collaborating with internal engineering teams and external partners, the full-time remote Principal Engineer, Stack will architect and optimize embedded Layer 2/Layer 3 protocol stack software for 5G cellular systems while contributing to the full development lifecycle and resolving complex software defects.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and optimize embedded L2/L3 protocol stack software for 5G systems
- Identify new features and software environments for next-generation products
- Investigate and resolve complex software defects in existing solutions
Required qualifications
- At least 10+ years of hands-on development experience with embedded or real-time components in multithreaded systems
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
- Solid understanding of communication protocols and the ability to implement L2/L3 standards effectively
- Experience working independently and collaboratively in a global, multisite organization
