Principal Engineering Lead
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Principal Engineering Lead to manage engineering operations, establish standards, and oversee DevSecOps practices for a large federal IT services program, working fully remote while collaborating with various technical and program leadership stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering operating model, standards, and continuous-improvement initiatives across delivery teams
- Establish and govern engineering standards for software development, cloud-native services, and operational readiness
- Define and maintain CI/CD pipeline standards and lead release governance processes to ensure secure and reliable deployments
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in a senior engineering leadership role on a federal IT services program
- Deep expertise in software engineering practices, including cloud-native development and DevSecOps
- Experience designing and governing CI/CD pipelines and operational-readiness processes
- Strong understanding of service-level objectives, monitoring, and incident response practices
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is required
