Job Summary
As a Principal Financial Operations in Software Asset Management, the full-time remote role will own and enhance enterprise FinOps processes, establish governance for technology investments, and partner across various teams to provide insights and recommendations on technology costs and consumption.
Key responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve enterprise FinOps processes, governance, and decision rights
- Partner with cross-functional teams to embed effective FinOps practices into technology planning and delivery
- Design and maintain dashboards and reporting assets to increase visibility into technology costs and consumption
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in FinOps, cloud financial management, Software Asset Management, or related disciplines
- Experience establishing governance and reporting capabilities within complex organizations
- Strong capabilities in data analysis, financial modeling, and dashboard design, with proficiency in tools like Power BI and Excel
- Preferred certifications include FinOps Certified Practitioner or Certified Software Asset Manager
