Principal Fraud Analyst

Job Summary

Owning the analytical strategy for assessing and mitigating fraud risk in digital transactions, the full-time remote Principal Fraud Analyst will lead the development of risk frameworks, design key fraud metrics, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance risk detection capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the definition and evolution of risk frameworks focused on guest fraud within the digital payments landscape
• Design and develop core fraud and risk metrics to inform decision-making and strategy
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate analytical insights into scalable solutions and manage external data sources

Required qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in data analytics, payments risk, and fraud; fintech experience is a plus
• Strong SQL and Python skills, with proficiency in analytical tools
• Proven ability to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights
• Experience in owning ambiguous problem spaces and translating them into measurable outcomes
• Exceptional communication skills with a track record of influencing cross-functional stakeholders
