Job Summary
Leading multi-quarter onboarding and cross-flow initiatives, the full-time remote Principal Full Stack Engineer will define technical architecture, build end-to-end solutions, and champion growth engineering across Atlassian's product suite.
Key responsibilities
- Define the technical vision and architectural patterns for onboarding and cross-flow experiences across multiple products
- Write production-grade code for full stack features, integrating frontend micro-frontends with backend services
- Mentor senior engineers and elevate technical standards across the Growth organization
Required qualifications
- 8-12+ years of full stack software engineering experience, with a focus on leading large, multi-team initiatives
- Deep expertise in TypeScript, React, and modern frontend performance optimization
- Strong proficiency in backend development using Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python, and experience with GraphQL/RESTful APIs
- Hands-on experience with telemetry pipelines and data querying to analyze funnel performance
- Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to align cross-functional teams around complex architectural decisions
