Job Summary
Providing senior technical leadership for the architecture and development of next-generation AI and high-performance data center networking platforms, the remote Principal Hardware Systems Architect will define complex networking architectures, evaluate system requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize AI systems.
Key responsibilities
- Define architecture for next-generation AI, cloud, and high-performance data center networking platforms
- Establish networking-system requirements and evaluate alternatives based on various performance metrics
- Lead early architecture studies, feasibility assessments, and platform definition efforts
Required qualifications
- BS or MS in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field
- Typically 12+ years in hardware development with a strong focus on networking and cloud platforms
- Proven experience defining system architecture for complex networking platforms
- Deep knowledge of Ethernet/InfiniBand, switch architectures, and optical/electrical interconnects
- Track record of taking complex platforms from early architecture to production
