Principal Incident Response Analyst

Job Summary

Serving as the principal escalation point for complex security incidents, the full-time remote Principal Incident Response Analyst will independently manage high-severity incidents, lead forensic investigations, and mentor other security professionals while continuously evolving incident response processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigations and manage the response to high-severity security incidents from detection to recovery
• Develop and improve detection logic based on incident findings and conduct proactive threat hunting
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other incident responders and analysts during live incidents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience
• 7+ years of hands-on information security experience with expertise in incident response
• Proven track record of independently leading complex security incidents
• Advanced digital forensics skills across various platforms and environments
• Strong scripting or automation experience applied to security use cases
