Principal Information Security Officer

Job Summary

To support a growing Identity and Data Security team, the full-time Principal Information Security Officer will manage the strategy, security, and governance of digital identities while overseeing governance, risk, and compliance activities related to data security in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as a bridge between technical teams and executive leadership, translating complex risk landscapes into clear business insights
• Implement governance frameworks to manage data use in compliance with laws and regulations, while monitoring the regulatory landscape
• Develop and advance the multi-year identity security strategy, prioritizing improvements based on risk and business needs

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 10-15 years of experience in Information Security, with significant expertise in identity and data security
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are preferred
• Strong expertise in enterprise identity security and data governance, including experience with access control models
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority
