Principal Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

Leading an infrastructure team in a remote environment, the full-time Principal Infrastructure Engineer will coordinate projects to meet client needs, build team capabilities through mentoring, and ensure high-performance infrastructure systems are designed and implemented effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Sets team goals and prioritizes tasks to align with company objectives while measuring team performance
• Manages staffing aspects, including hiring, retention, and development, while providing feedback and coaching
• Coordinates project management efforts to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintains communication with customers for satisfaction

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience, including 3+ years in designing and maintaining secure infrastructure systems
• Experience with Agile methods and modern data center and cloud environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science or related field
• Ability to coach and develop team skills
• Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry is preferred
