Principal IT Program Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic and experienced Principal IT Program Manager for a remote, full-time position who will lead complex technology initiatives across Technology Operations and Information Security & Compliance, overseeing portfolio governance, strategic planning, delivery, risk management, and executive reporting while developing a team of project managers.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and develop project managers, establishing consistent program management practices and standards
• Oversee portfolio health, priorities, roadmaps, and resource allocation to support effective prioritization
• Establish program governance and reporting standards for complex initiatives, ensuring compliance and operational readiness

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years in project or program management of complex technology initiatives
• Experience leading and developing project management professionals and influencing cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of Technology Operations, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and compliance environments
• Expertise in managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder management across various delivery models
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and data-driven reporting tools
