Job Summary
To design and support enterprise Kubernetes solutions, the remote Principal Kubernetes Engineer will lead architecture discussions, develop software platforms, and enhance system performance while collaborating with various teams and contributing to documentation and proof of concepts.
Key responsibilities
- Lead architecture-level discussions and implementation for Kubernetes solutions
- Research and document projects to ensure optimal development paths and facilitate user integration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve products and drive proof of concepts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 10 years of software and infrastructure engineering experience, particularly with Kubernetes and Go
- Deep expertise in Linux and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience building Kubernetes operators or custom controllers is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to derive solutions from ambiguous requirements
