Job Summary

Driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge machine learning algorithms, the full-time Principal Machine Learning Engineer will collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to build AI functionalities into Atlassian products and services, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement sophisticated machine learning models and system architectures
• Conduct rigorous experimentation and model evaluations to ensure optimal performance
• Provide mentorship and guidance to emerging machine learning engineers

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience in machine learning and AI algorithm development
• Strong background in designing system architectures for machine learning applications
• Proficiency in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering
• Experience in conducting model evaluations and experimentation
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
