Principal Platform Engineer
Job Summary
As the technical lead for the AI-Native SDLC initiative, the full-time Principal Platform Engineer will own critical architecture decisions, drive automated quality checks, and improve development velocity and safety while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the AI-Native SDLC initiative, focusing on quality gates and automated releases to enhance development speed and safety
- Own the team's roadmap and balance immediate platform requests with long-term architectural investments
- Facilitate team delivery planning and manage project milestones and target dates
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on platform or distributed systems architecture
- Hands-on experience in leading delivery engineering transformations, including CI/CD and test strategy at scale
- Experience in evolving monolithic systems to services and defining safe architectural boundaries
- Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript services, Postgres, and AWS
- Clear communication skills with diverse stakeholders, including engineers and compliance teams
