Principal Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To drive overall technical strategy and mentor senior engineers, the full-time Principal Platform Engineer will architect and operate release infrastructure, lead supply chain security efforts, and support AI enablement while working remotely or onsite in Rosslyn, VA.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and operate end-to-end release infrastructure and GitOps delivery pipelines
- Lead artifact security initiatives and build automated compliance pipelines
- Support hardware OS image builds and productionize internal AI gateways and workflows
Required qualifications
- 10+ years in software/platform engineering with 5+ years managing production infrastructure at scale
- Proven track record in technical and people leadership, including project management and mentoring
- Hands-on mastery of Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Infrastructure as Code
- Strong background in supply chain security and artifact registries
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
