Principal Product Designer
Job Summary
To drive the creation of engaging, high-converting shopping experiences on Therabody.com, the freelance Principal Product Designer will manage the end-to-end design process across various stages of the purchase journey, collaborating with product, engineering, and brand teams in a remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the design of the shopping experience across product detail pages, cart, checkout, and post-purchase for a global storefront
- Set the ecommerce design direction by defining UX patterns and interaction standards for web PMs and engineers
- Partner with product and analytics teams to prioritize an experimentation roadmap and validate design directions through research and usability testing
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of product or UX design experience, with a focus on ecommerce
- Demonstrated history of leading significant design work as an individual contributor
- Expertise in Figma, including maintaining component libraries and design systems
- Deep familiarity with Shopify or comparable commerce platforms
- Strong ability to analyze data using tools like GA4 and FullStory to inform design decisions
