Principal Product Designer
Job Summary
To elevate the quality of patient experiences, the full-time Principal Product Designer will lead design initiatives, evolve Ro's Design System, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Raise the design quality across Ro by contributing exceptional visual craft and product thinking to high-impact patient experiences
- Lead the evolution of Ro's Design System, establishing its vision, roadmap, and visual language while partnering with Design Engineering
- Shape AI-assisted product development by ensuring design tools leverage Ro's systems and standards for higher-quality outputs
Required qualifications
- 10 years of experience designing and shipping high-impact digital products across web and mobile
- Proven ability to operate as both a systems thinker and hands-on maker in defining scalable design languages
- Experience building, evolving, or driving adoption of design systems at scale
- Strong conceptual thinking and creative-direction skills, with a portfolio showcasing sophisticated design work
- Demonstrated Principal-level leadership and influence in identifying high-impact opportunities and mentoring designers
