Principal Product Designer
Job Summary
Driving transformation in onboarding experiences, the full-time remote Principal Product Designer will define and simplify how restaurants engage with Toast through setup flows, feature adoption, and business configuration, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish cohesive design patterns.
Key responsibilities
- Define and reshape onboarding experiences to enhance user engagement and adoption
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to establish and drive design patterns across the organization
- Utilize Figma and prototyping tools to create and critique design solutions while influencing cross-functional teams
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in designing end-to-end onboarding or product adoption experiences
- Strong visual design skills with a portfolio showcasing UI/UX rigor and systems thinking
- Experience incorporating AI into user experiences, such as guided workflows and contextual assistance
- Demonstrated ability to influence organizational change and drive design pattern adoption
- Research-driven approach with experience in user testing and data analysis to inform design decisions
