Principal Product Manager
Job Summary
Representing the roadmap function for mainstream cloud customers, the full-time Principal Product Manager will drive alignment between customer infrastructure requirements, product capabilities, and roadmap priorities while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a primarily onsite role with some remote flexibility.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the roadmap for mainstream cloud customers, incorporating their needs and deployment realities into Seagate's product strategy
- Engage with customers to understand operational constraints and adoption barriers for new HDD technologies, facilitating successful product introductions
- Craft and communicate roadmap narratives that align Seagate's technology investments with customer outcomes
Required qualifications
- Extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, storage, or data center technologies
- Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through customer engagement and technical expertise
- Significant understanding of storage technologies and their deployment within cloud environments
- Experience working directly with cloud providers, hyperscalers, or storage architects
- Strong collaborative skills to align across various teams and segments
