Principal Product Manager
Job Summary
Leading the strategic direction of Docker Sandboxes, the full-time remote Principal Product Manager will own the product vision, roadmap, and adoption while collaborating with developers and cross-functional teams to enhance secure, isolated environments for software development.
Key responsibilities
- Own the long-term vision, roadmap, revenue, and adoption of Docker Sandboxes
- Engage deeply with developers to understand their workflows and pain points, providing solutions that optimize for future needs
- Guide product definition and feature prioritization in collaboration with engineering, design, and other teams
Required qualifications
- Prior professional experience as a software engineer, preferably in systems, infrastructure, or developer tools
- Strong technical familiarity with sandboxes/microVMs, containers, and virtualization technologies
- Experience designing and operating systems that execute untrusted or agent-generated code at scale
- Understanding of modern developer infrastructure, including Linux, container runtimes, and cloud services
- Experience building B2B or SaaS products and knowledge of software supply chain and security concerns
