Principal Product Manager

Job Summary

Driving strategic initiatives for the Telematics Business Unit, the remote Principal Product Manager will own cross-cutting projects, incubate new product bets, and collaborate closely with engineering teams to enhance the core telematics business.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage initiatives that deliver significant business and commercial impact across the Telematics business unit
• Identify and develop new product opportunities related to core telematics and vehicle gateway products, including building business cases and prototypes
• Act as a hands-on contributor to tackle complex problems while promoting Samsara's cultural principles within the team

Required qualifications

• Product management experience in B2B, preferably with hands-on engagement with field and sales teams
• Proven track record of launching products from inception to market in a B2B environment
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess market opportunities and develop business cases
• Familiarity with using AI tools for rapid prototyping and product development
• No specific telematics expertise required, as on-the-job learning is expected
