Principal Product Manager

Job Summary

To enhance the security and user experience for millions of members, the remote Principal Product Manager will own and execute the strategy for identity, authentication, and account recovery, ensuring safe access to Life360's services while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for authentication and authorization systems, focusing on member access and security
• Design account management and recovery processes that prioritize user safety and minimize friction
• Collaborate with security teams to anticipate threats and implement layered defenses against account takeovers and fraud

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience, particularly at a principal or staff level with cross-functional scope
• Deep experience in consumer identity and authentication products for large-scale applications
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including threat modeling and credential security
• Experience operating identity flows across various countries and regulatory environments
• Proven ability to drive alignment across large, matrixed organizations, including Engineering and Security teams
