Principal Product Security Engineer

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership in a fully remote capacity, the full-time Principal Product Security Engineer will design strategies for Delinea's Product Security Program, perform secure design reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of security architecture and best practices for product offerings
• Conduct threat modeling and security assessments, documenting product risks and application designs
• Mentor team members and promote integration of security standards within the software development lifecycle (S-SDLC)

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 12 years of professional experience in Cybersecurity, with a minimum of 7 years in a Product Security role
• Proficiency in cloud security, secure design reviews, and threat modeling
• Experience with security testing tools and integration into development pipelines
• Strong leadership and communication skills to influence stakeholders effectively
