Principal Product Security Engineer

Job Summary

As the founding Principal Product Security Engineer, the full-time remote position will manage the security strategy for the platform, focusing on supply chain security, code scanning, runtime monitoring, and threat modeling while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance application security.

Key responsibilities

• Validate, prioritize, and fix security findings at scale to improve application security
• Develop internal security tools and processes to prevent insecure code from being merged
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to shape the product roadmap and provide feedback on security implementations

Required qualifications

• 10+ years in application or product security with experience in technical leadership roles
• Proven track record of building security tooling and automation that operates at scale
• Experience influencing product roadmaps and driving adoption of security practices across teams
• Hands-on experience with applying LLMs and agents to security challenges
• Strong skills in threat modeling and secure architecture
