Principal Program Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a remote Principal Program Manager on a contract basis, this role will manage a new HR program by overseeing multiple business and technology teams, coordinating with implementation partners and vendors, and driving strategic initiatives through effective portfolio management.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the planning, oversight, and coordination of portfolios across multiple domains, ensuring alignment and delivery of outcomes
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies to foster supportive relationships and ensure stakeholder representation across programs
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies at the portfolio level, creating recovery plans as necessary to ensure successful delivery
Required qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 10 to 15 years of experience in program and portfolio management
- Proven managerial experience with expertise in large-scale program management
- Strong background in vendor management and cross-functional coordination
- Experience in HR-related programs is a plus
