Job Summary
Leading the global Project Management Office, the full-time Principal Project Governance Leader will establish governance frameworks and oversee a $150M annual capital expenditure portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives while working remotely with 20% travel.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the PMO Governance function globally, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and Capex investment priorities
- Establish and govern a global portfolio management framework to prioritize and execute high-value projects
- Define and enforce global project lifecycle frameworks, ensuring projects meet business case objectives and deliver intended outcomes
Required qualifications
- Degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in PMO within regulated environments such as chemical or life sciences
- Demonstrated experience leading global PMO organizations and managing significant capital investments
- Professional certifications (PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, MSP, Agile) preferred
- Strong expertise in benefits realization management and business case validation
