Job Summary
As a full-time remote Principal Propulsion Engineer, the successful candidate will manage the design, analysis, and development of propulsion hardware, taking designs from concept to flight maturity while supporting manufacturing and testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support design, analysis, manufacturing, and testing of propulsion piece parts and assemblies
- Generate CAD models of components and engine systems, including P&ID's of engine systems
- Develop and execute test plans, analyze test results, and mentor younger team members
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of aerospace vehicle and engine systems engineering/design experience
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering
- Experience with multidisciplinary project teams and systems engineering
- 5+ years of CAD experience, particularly with large assemblies
- Knowledge of aerospace fluid systems and standard aerospace materials for high mechanical and thermal loads
