Principal QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Transforming QA processes, the full-time Principal QA Automation Engineer will design and enhance automation and AI-assisted testing capabilities for web and mobile products while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own and scale Playwright and Appium automation frameworks, ensuring architecture, stability, and maintainability
- Integrate and run automated test suites in CI/CD pipelines to provide fast feedback on changes
- Design AI-assisted workflows for test case generation and failure triage to optimize QA efficiency
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA or development, with at least 3 years in test automation frameworks
- Strong command of JavaScript and hands-on experience with Playwright for E2E test automation
- Experience automating mobile tests using Appium
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline integration using GitHub Actions and GitLab CI
- Practical experience applying AI tools and LLMs to QA workflows
