Principal Quality Engineer
Job Summary
Hands-on and detail-oriented, the remote Principal Quality Engineer will manage cross-team project quality, write and maintain test code, and apply secure-by-design principles while collaborating with multiple engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Own the testing of projects that span multiple teams, ensuring quality verification and coverage of quality risks
- Write, review, and maintain test code and frameworks, contributing to shared test tooling and debugging flaky tests
- Architect and maintain Automation Frameworks and AI Agents to enhance test suite generation and provide real-time risk assessments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience
- Typically 12+ years of relevant experience in software QA methodologies and tools
- Expertise in writing production-grade code in multiple programming languages
- Advanced knowledge of relational/NoSQL databases and release pipelines
- Ability to influence quality initiatives across teams without direct authority
