Principal SAP Retail Consultant

Job Summary

Serving as the primary Point of Sale (POS) subject matter expert for Department of Defense (DoD) SAP S/4HANA implementations, the remote Principal SAP Retail POS Consultant will ensure alignment of the SAP Retail and Customer Activity Repository (CAR) solutions with operational goals and financial reporting requirements while guiding design and processes for military retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Advises on retail structure design and architects sales and payment processes for exchange-specific scenarios
• Leads Fit-to-Standard workshops to translate business rules into standard SAP Retail processes and oversees functional design of interfaces
• Acts as a trusted advisor to client leadership on improving operational efficiency and enhancing customer experience through SAP solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with extensive experience in large-scale retail systems, preferably SAP Retail, CAR, or S/4HANA for Retail
• Subject matter expertise in retail operations, particularly in merchandising and supply chain for multichannel retailers
• Proven track record in major retail system implementations and strong understanding of retail financial concepts
• U.S. citizenship required, with the ability to obtain and maintain an active government clearance
