Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Principal Scientist, AI Foundations to manage the shared software platform and knowledge systems for Translational AI Foundations, focusing on deploying validated AI tools and workflows in a collaborative environment with translational research groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a shared software platform with provenance tracking, evaluation tooling, and access control
- Implement engineering standards as tooling, including automated test and validation pipelines
- Deploy validated tools and services, ensuring proper packaging and hand-off to research teams for long-term use
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in computational biology, bioinformatics, computer science, data engineering, or a related quantitative field with 4+ years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 6+ years; or a Bachelor's degree with 8+ years
- Experience shipping production data systems or services that other teams depend on
- Hands-on cloud engineering experience on AWS or equivalent, including containerization and CI/CD
- Familiarity with translational biomarker data and GxP-relevant traceability expectations
- Experience in a platform or enablement team that served scientists directly and measured success by adoption
